Neita Boone Taylor

Savannah- Neita Mae Boone Taylor, 96, died March 31, 2008 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Cook County, the daughter of the late John Wesley Boone and Susie Mittie Wilherson. Ms. Taylor retired from Union Camp Corporation and was a member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Savannah since 1942.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Melba Lanier; four brothers and one sister.
Survivors are one son, Wendell Taylor of Savannah; a brother and sister-in-law, Vernon A. "Pete" and Polly Boone of Adel, GA; sister-in-law, Marjorie Boone Phelps of Lenox, GA; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 12:00 to 1:15 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
